Coaches and representatives from college programs will connect directly with dancers, offering an inside look at college dance life, what different programs prioritize, and how dancers can best prepare. This is a valuable opportunity to learn about a variety of programs and discover which ones align with your personal and dance goals.
College-Level Choreography, sideline material, and Technique Classes (experience 2 only)
Dancers will participate in classes designed to reflect the choreography, sideline energy, and technical skills of college programs. From gameday routines to the essentials of hip hop, pom, and jazz, each session provides authentic college-level training and intensity.
Personalized Breakout Seminars
Get ready for auditions with sessions on makeup/hair, building confidence, nutrition, interview skills, and more. These workshops are tailored to help you excel at each stage of the college dance journey, from first impressions to final auditions. Experience 1 will offer a College Dance 101 Seminar.
Mock Auditions and Feedback
For those eager to test the waters, dancers can participate in auditions, receiving invaluable feedback and recruitment insights from our experienced instructors and college program representatives. Experience 1 will have the opportunity to observe this portion of the event.

College-Level Gameday Masterclass – Master a comprehensive Gameday routine that blends hip hop, pom, and jazz styles, showcasing the intensity and style of college dance teams

Audition-Ready Sideline – this class prepares dancers for gameday choreography seen at college games.

Breakout "Jam" Seminars – Dive into essential topics like makeup and hair, building confidence, setting and achieving goals, nutrition, and more

Do I need to be on a current dance team or affiliated with a studio to attend?
A: No! This event is open to all dancers, regardless of your current team or studio affiliation. Whether you're training independently, taking classes recreationally, or simply exploring college dance as an option, you are welcome to attend.

Do I need to be an elite dancer to participate?
Absolutely not! We believe in creating an inclusive environment where dancers can grow and learn. Whether you're just starting out or already have college dance in your sights, you'll find a supportive space to connect with programs and get valuable insights.

That's what we're here to help with! Experience 1 "Exploration" was created for dancers who want to learn more about college dance in our Dance 101 Seminar, hear from current college dancers, connect with college coaches, and explore program options without the pressure of training or auditions.

Yes! For dancers who chose Experience 2, there will be a mock audition opportunity on Day 2, with personalized feedback from professionals. This is your chance to showcase your skills and connect directly with the programs you're interested in.

What’s the difference between the "Exploration" and "Ready to Train & Audition" tracks?
Experience 1 "Exploration" track is ideal for dancers who want to learn more about college programs and the college dance process, without diving into training or auditions. Experience 2 "Ready to Train & Audition" track is for dancers who are prepared to train, improve their technique, and get on track to audition for college programs.

What if I don’t know what type of college program is right for me?
That’s totally okay! This event allows you to explore different types of programs, whether performance-based or competitive. Coaches will discuss the culture, style, and recruiting needs of their programs, so you can gain clarity on which program might be the best fit for you.

Do I need to prepare anything before the event?
A: You’ll receive an email with all the details you need, including what to wear and bring. Experience 2 dancers will need to have 4-6 eight counts of choreography prepared. Further details will be provided after registration.

Is there an opportunity to interact with coaches one-on-one?
Yes! We’ve built in personal interaction time for coaches and dancers. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, learn about their programs, and discuss potential fit in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
