You’ll have the opportunity to engage with both experienced dancers ready to audition and those just beginning to explore college dance. This event helps bridge the gap of those deciding and exploring – giving you the chance to introduce your program to a broader pool of potential recruits while providing valuable insights to those still discovering their path.

Will I have the chance to network with other college coaches?
Yes! This event is a great opportunity for networking! You’ll have dedicated time to meet and discuss ideas with coaches from other programs, fostering collaboration and make connections within the broader college dance. community.

Do I have to attend both days?
No! Day 1 is optional for college coaches. We understand that some programs may not have the budget or time to stay overnight, especially if you're traveling from farther away. Day 1 primarily focuses on training sessions, which gives you a chance to observe dancers in action. If you're unable to attend, don’t worry—Day 2 is when the real focus for coaches takes place.

What if I don’t need to actively recruit but want to attend?
Totally great! You can still showcase your program and connect with high school dancers & coaches.

What types of programs will be there?
Spirit programs, competition teams, and club teams will be represented.

Will I be given an opportunity to talk about the program?
Yes! You will have a dedicated time to speak directly to dancers and showcase your program’s unique culture, values, and style. You’ll also have a designated space for marketing materials to make sure dancers know more about your team. This is a special, extended opportunity for coaches to share in-depth details about their program and have one-on-one time with dancers.

Will I have a chance to watch the dancers in action?
Yes! Coaches are encouraged to attend Day 1 to observe dancers during training sessions. This is your chance to see dancers’ skills, technique, and performance styles before the mock audition and making connections on Day 2.

What will Day 2 look like for coaches?
On Day 2, coaches will be featured more prominently. This is when you will introduce your program, meet one-on- one with dancers, watch mock auditions, and engage in the College Dance Showcase.

How will I connect with dancers at the event?
​ The event is designed to facilitate meaningful connections with dancers. You’ll be able to engage in conversations during breaks, meet-and-greets, and through the mock auditions. You’ll also receive a list of interested dancers after. the event, so you can follow up with potential recruits.

What is the College Dance Showcase?
Each participating college program can bring up to 5 dancers to perform and highlight their team’s style, and focus. This is an opportunity for each program to showcase its unique approach to dance, giving attendees a firsthand look at what makes each team special.​

Do I need to bring dancers from my program?
​ While it’s optional, we encourage you to bring dancers from your team to participate in the College Dance Showcase. This is a great opportunity to showcase your team’s style and make a lasting impression on prospective dancers. It’s not only about visibility but also about demonstrating your team’s culture and performance style and allowing dancers to connect with them throughout the event.
